Over 400 years ago King Charles II was crowned King. He was very much a promiscuous person who had more than 13 illegitimate children, yet, ironically, had no children with his wife Queen Catherine of Braganza. It is said that the Royal lineage with Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana Spencer, could be traced to King Charles II.
